Text-to-Video: Mixed Results

Test: “Futuristic city skyline at night, flying cars, neon lights, camera panning right.” Result: 6/10. The cyberpunk aesthetic worked. Neon colors were vibrant. Flying car motion looked wrong — the cars floated rather than flew, like a screensaver. The camera pan was jerky, not smooth.
Test: “Close-up of hands kneading bread dough on a floured wooden table, warm kitchen light.” Result: 8/10. This worked well. Single subject, simple action, clear setting. The hands moved realistically. Dough texture was convincing. Flour dust behaved naturally. This is the kind of prompt Kling’s text-to-video handles well: constrained, single-subject, no camera movement.
Pattern I noticed: Kling text-to-video falls apart on multi-subject scenes and camera movement prompts. If you have a specific shot in mind, generate a still image first (Midjourney, DALL-E, whichever you prefer), then feed it into Kling’s image-to-video. That workflow consistently produces better results.
Overall text-to-video: 7/10. Serviceable. Not the reason to choose Kling.
Multi-Shot Sequences (New in 3.0)

The transition from shot 2 to shot 3 had a minor continuity issue (the amount of ground coffee changed). Native Audio Sync (New in 3.0)
This is a feature Runway does not have. Kling 3.0 can generate synchronized audio with your video in 5 languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish). I tested English voice sync on three clips. The lip sync was rough — mouths moved but did not match phonemes precisely. Background sounds (ambient noise, footsteps, object sounds) were better. The audio quality is functional, not studio-grade.
For creators who need basic audio without switching to a separate tool, this is useful. If you need professional audio, you will still want ElevenLabs or a dedicated solution.
Text Rendering
Kling 3.0 claims best-in-class text rendering. I tested signs, book titles, product labels, and street names. The text was actually legible in most cases — something most AI video tools cannot do. Generation Speed
